LOUGH NEAGH RANGER

DURATION: Fixed Term contract until 31 March 2028 with the possibility of an extension for a further 4 year period subject to funding under DAERA Environment Fund.

SALARY: Local Government Scale 6 PT 18 £31,537

FLEXIBLE WORKING: (Home/Office/site).

PENSION: Pension contribution at 5%

WORKING HOURS: 35 hours per week

Lough Neagh Partnership is seeking to recruit a Lough Neagh Ranger to undertake practical survey, monitoring and conservation work as part of the Lough Neagh ASSI management project aimed at restoring favourable status to the Lough Neagh ASSI/SPA/Ramsar site. As part of this undertake practical habitat management works, organise and manage volunteer events, engage with the community and stakeholders, undertake surveys and record environmental data at target sites within the designated area. This post is being funded under the DAERA Multi Strand Strategic Fund
