Lough Neagh Partnership Launch Webinar Series to Support Tourism Businesses on Lough Neagh

A new Lough Neagh Tourism Forum has been established by Lough Neagh Partnership as a central communication point to deliver details of an upcoming webinar series to support tourism businesses during the global Corona-virus Pandemic.

Tourism Businesses who operate within ten miles of Lough Neagh are eligible to join the group and participate in the webinar series which will be presented using Zoom.

An introductory zoom meeting will take place on Wednesday 29th April at 3pm for all those wishing to participate in the webinars. This will be a short session to introduce participants to the forum and to familiarise themselves with the Zoom functionality. Lough Neagh Partnership operate Lough Neagh Tours, following the series of webinars, they plan to assist businesses in scheduling tours for local visitors (following the guidelines provided by the government & Tourism NI when they become available). A booking platform is already in place and a marketing campaign will be launched when the time is right to support local tourism businesses in adapting to the new climate.

In planning for the longer term, Lough Neagh Partnership plan to update their portfolio of tours in the Lough Neagh & Its Waterways destination and distribute to international tour operators in anticipation of the 2021 tourism season. There is no cost to businesses who wish to become involved in this initiative.
