Lough Neagh Partnership has been working closely with many tour operators over the last few years to develop relationships, present our tour offering and facilitate familiarisation visits in order to grow the tourism industry of Lough Neagh. Tourism is still relatively new to Lough Neagh and very often we hear conversations between our local tourism businesses such as:
- How much should I charge for my tour?
- How could I tailor it for the various markets, both domestic and international?
- How can I make my tour more authentic and experiential?
- What are tour operators looking for?
- How can I improve my tour / experience?
- What is acceptable to put in a contract with a tour operator?
One to One Mentoring
Lough Neagh Partnership has engaged the services of a familiar (and Lough Neagh Native) Tour Operator, whose most recent position was with The Tour Partner Group; Leonie Duff.
” Originally from Northern Ireland, I have worked in escalating roles within the international and domestic tourism industry for 15 years, from organising and accompanying tours to product development and contracting within international high-growth tour operators. I am passionate about driving NI tourism and developing tourism growth strategies and roadmaps, pricing structures and economies of scale, in line with individual business goals.
I look forward to sitting down one-on-one with local tourism businesses to predict relevant market demands and explore bespoke product offerings, pricing and marketing to highlight new revenue streams and opportunities for prototype building and testing.” Leonie Duff
Mentoring Appointments
Consultation appointments will be facilitated via Zoom and are available on Thursday 12th & Friday 13th November 2020. The appointments will last one hour and will cost participating businesses £150. The appointments will be allocated on a first come basis. The mentoring will be tailored to the needs of your business and some background information will be required in advance of the mentoring appointment. Your place will not be confirmed until payment has been received.
